GroupConnectPro ("we", "us", "our") is a product of Z-JAK Enterprises, LLC dba Z-JAK Technologies, based in Louisville, Kentucky. We provide software for managing networking and referral groups. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. By using the service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect. Personal information you provide, your name, email address, phone number, mailing/business address, company, and the professional details you choose to add to your profile. Group activity you generate in the service, attendance, referrals, one-to-ones, guests, meetings, and membership records. Payment information needed to process subscriptions; card details are handled by our payment processor, and we store only the last four digits and expiration date for display.
Usage data. Some information is collected automatically when you use the service, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the dates and times of access, gathered through server logs and privacy-friendly product analytics.
Cookies & tracking. We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and limited, cookieless analytics to understand performance and usage. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some features may not work without them.
How we use your information. To operate and maintain the service; manage memberships, meetings, and renewals; facilitate referrals and introductions between members; process billing; communicate with you about your account or the service; provide support; improve the product; and meet legal and security obligations.
Privacy controls. Members choose which profile fields are public. Private fields are visible only to the member and their group administrators. Public roster and directory listings show only the information a member has chosen to make public.
How we share information. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the platform, with your group's administrators as part of normal group operation, in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), and where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Third-party services. We rely on trusted providers, each governed by its own privacy policy: Supabase (database, authentication, and backend hosting), Vercel (application hosting and analytics), Mailgun (transactional email delivery), and Stripe (payment processing).
Data retention & transfer. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the service and to comply with our legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards in place.
Security. We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and database access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights (GDPR/EEA). If you are in the European Economic Area, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time.
California rights (CCPA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access or deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information.
Children's privacy. The service is not directed to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
